Today’s snow was light as hell. I plowed and shoveled several points across the city. Each place had the same weird dry, crumbly, bs snow that you can’t make a proper snowball with.

Instead of the expected six inches, we got the traditional 2 inches of sleet. It was aggressively large sleet that came down heavy, too.

I didn't shovel. There's an ice layer underneath. Removing the sleet just removes the grip.

Yeah it was a major bust down here in MD.

I knew it when I woke up at 7 and just heard sleet pounding the window. Knew it was gonna be a bust from there. The balloon they launched from Dulles at 7 am showed a big wedge of air above freezing from about 5000-10000 feet. Doomed us.

Yeah, I woke up earlier than that to hear sleet. The sleet phase wasn't supposed to be until around 3, so it was a game over.

Critics have compared Young Rock to The Wonder Years, which is the most damning comparison I can think of.

You are really, really saying some crazy wrong shit lately.

I'll take Freaks and Geeks and Stranger Things over the Wonder Years.

I would too, but that doesn't mean there was anything wrong with WY - there wasn't. Beef has obviously taken up recreational crack use.

I haven't watched it in a while, but I do remember liking it as a young kid when it was on.

That Joe Cocker intro is classic.

A person would have to be one hugely cynical meat bastard to have not liked it when it was on. Judging it by watching it later is completely different, and I only hope that is what Beef did. Because otherwise he is an enemy of goodness and should throw himself in the baboon furnace.

Wonder Years was great. Winnie was such a smokeshow to my 9 year old self. Then Topanga came along to help fill the void when Wonder Years ended.

Gets me thinking about crushes when I was young. I was super into Dominique Moceanu during the 1996 Olympics. What a babe.
Ha ha....yeah Winnie was a doe eyed doll..

Wanda was the same age as me pretty much..so I had a crush on her. Apparently her career never took off and she sells real estate in LA these days.

Topanga was hot....

I remember Dominique too..my friend had a crush on her.

Back then to me celebrity crushes were a bit more wholesome. These days with everybody being an IG influencer porn type. .it is not the same. Call me old fashioned..
