Tired of ****ty moral victories

mor·al vic·to·ry
[moral victory]
NOUN
  1. a defeat that can be interpreted as a victory on moral terms, for example because the defeated party defended their principles.
Good news, with Housley at the helm, our principles are not even defined yet! We just overplay Sobotka, play some sort of sloppy hybrid zone defense, and keep the kids on a short leash.

Does Nashville have anything to play for with this one? Home ice right?

They are tied with STL with STL holding the tie breaker.

Winnipeg is also just 2 points ahead.

They are not only playing for home ice, but they may even be playing for the chance to win the division and face Dallas in Round 1 instead of St. Louis/Winnipeg

Nashville will be motivated.

So does anyone tell Pilut or Borgen about the last time they played the Preds late in the season in a meaningless game? Like, don't turn your back, even if that shit-sack Hartnell isn't on the team any more.

I just want a core guy to score. Eichel, Dahlin, Reinhart. Whichever, just a couple goals involving them, so I can lie to myself tonight and claim progress

The lines aren't too shabby, but I'd much prefer Borgen in over Nelson.

Game 80: Tonight is not the time to end this campaign!! Buffalo's tank must roll on!! 3 more losses to go!! Ready all barrels!!

Game 81: Sabres home finale vs. Ottawa on April 4th will be a tank trap game. Senators will be playing 2nd road game in 2 nights, and Buffalo may open the last can of SPAM pride they've been saving. Sabres tank must not yield to the trap.

Game 82: Saturday's finale will be an epic old-time battle between the Sabres Royal Blue and the Red Wing of Detroit.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of tank that is in the photo. With reactive armor, really low profile turret reminds me of an Israeli Merkava.

Anyway, Phil's still here, so I'm not watching. Nashville's gonna roll right through them.

Phil still makes head scratching moves no matter how subtle. It shouldn't be this difficult. Dahlin and Risto have never looked good together. Pilut and Risto dominate together, so he goes with Dahlin Risto and Pilut Nelson. All he has to do is reverse those, and their defense is way more effective.

End of season can't come soon enough, so this shit head gets canned. I hate him more than any recent Buffalo sports figure.

The Top 9 looks good. I'd prefer Pominville over Okposo. Pominville is a much better player, but the difference is likely marginal. Okposo basically neutralizes any Top 9 line he's a part of.

I just can't wait til we have better players on this team. It's embarrassing that Okposo is even in our lineup at this point, he's that bad.

Finally put Nylander on a scoring line took him a shotout and a few nights to figure that out.
Good that he keeps Nelson in... he was arguably the worst d man the last 2 games.. watch the accountability and culture they are building here Will Borgen!
