one of the most striking things to me is in the box score. Those PIM totals are astounding compared to what we currently see in the playoffs

I had recently moved to Winnipeg and Game 5 was played on the same day as the Provincial Govt Election.

CBC was covering the Bruins / Habs and it was blacked out due to Election Coverage.

Watched the game at a local pub surrounded by Leaf / Habs fans.

Beating the Habs had almost become unthinkable and this game was right up there with the feelings I had after the 1970 and 1972 Cup wins.
