The hurricanes lineup looks so weak down the middle but looks better with Niederreiter and Svechnikov on the wings.

I’m pretty optimistic re the flyers but there is no shot at all. Just hope for Morin to replace Hagg this season. One less thing to overcome next year.

For those that have cable. I love this time of the year when Hockey and Baseball use the same channels. With MLB Extra innings starting today with a Free preview that opens the door to Free NHL Center ice it usually last about a week.

Today will be nuts for some reason MLB has 14 day games and 1 night game.

So all 14 game channels that do both Hockey and MLB are being used. It would be interesting if any game goes to Extra innings when it's time for Hockey

I understand the desire to play him over a guy like Elliott, who most likely has no future here, but the idea he needs to play in order to decide if he should be resigned is bogus (IMO). If they signed him as a UFA no one would be worried about it. I do think there is value in him being around the team, even if he isn't playing. I'm still baffled as to how they couldn't manage a pick out of EDM for giving up an RFA and taking on salary, but whatever.
