Very interested to see these third lines go at it. Need a strong game from Pettersson and Guds if that’s who they get matched up on. That Caps 3L looks very buzzsaw-ish even if it lacks some offense. And of course ours has been very good lately.

I said this after the Boston game and it's a pretty simple formula but very effective. Whoever controls the middle of the ice and gets the goaltending wins. With our size on that 3rd pairing and with Bjugstad clogging up the middle we certainly have the ability to make things difficult.

Ngl I’m a bit worried about Hags vs Guds. Seems like the exact type of player who could give him real trouble.

Of course we’re home and Sully can do well to get away from that matchup if it poses issues.
