This smooth skating defenseman may be a bit undersized, but he's wowed every single scout who saw him play and, along with his brother Michael (a top prospect for next year's draft) WAS his school's team.

Alex can easily be the next John-Michael Lilles if he continues to progress. He has GAME BREAKING ability and is one of the smoothest skating defenseman I've seen in a long time. He's lightning quick and can dipsy-doo at top speed with the puck. He's also not as bad at the defensive side of the game as some might expect. He doesn't mind hitting and will do the dirty work.

Ranked to go about in the 4th round or so, we feel it's just straight luck that he fell to us. We were prepared to select him in the 4th, 6th, or 7th rounds if he kept falling.

And he did!
