Standings after day 4: @Captain Dave Poulin had a short spell on top. Safe to say I had a good day with points from 8 different players topped by a hat trick performance from Philipp Kurashev. @denominator also made a big jump thanks to Ryan Poehling recording a hat trick and an assist in the loss against Sweden.

Standings after Preliminary rounds. @denominator takes a commanding lead going into the playoffs and relegation rounds. Slovakias trashing of Kazakhstan helped him in that regard. Behind him myself and @Captain Dave Poulin are chasing. Heading into elimination rounds gaps can close quickly as players may see large portions of their teams eliminated in case of upsets. So even if you're 10 points back victory can still be achieved. Stay tuned folks!

Sweden getting eliminated is going to change things significantly as well. That's 17 selected players gone, while Switzerland advances only 4 selected players.

Yes, two teams with many players picked from eliminated decimates rosters significantly - although Finland had quite a few players picked.

Standings after QFs and Relegation game 1: @denominator has a commanding lead after the Russians put up 8 on Slovakia and Heponiemi getting on the scoresheet for the Finns. Nine (!) point back @Captain Dave Poulin is the closest chasing behind. With Canada out I lost two of my top three forwards so I hope the Swiss can go thorugh with another Kurashev hattrick. @ajw12 and @Ghosts Beer are hunting for a podium finish close behind.
