12 points in 10 games. That's a multiple of 6 every 5. I did maths, yo
Currently sitting at -3 with 39 points and the two teams sitting in wild card position have 42 points...so far, "6 points in 5 games" is a solid projection.
Interesting that the 8 teams currently in playoff position have positive goal differentials, and the 8 who are not have negative goal differential. The Canes currently sit at -10.
Not sure how the “Pace” field is being filled in on the OP, but we should be -4 (overall), currently, right?
EDIT, never mind, I scored the 1-2-2 stretch as a -3 instead of a -2.
Win one of the next two and we’re at a +1 pace!
I see what’s wrong: you’ve got this current 5-game stretch labeled as “35-40”. That should be “36-40”.
Since tonight’s was game 37, I thought you still hadn’t updated the Pace yet.
I think we tread water going 3-2 or maybe 3-1-1.
Hello games 41-45....watcha got for me....Bruins, Bolts, Caps, Caps, Flames.
Did somebody say "test your mettle"....I think we tread water going 3-2 or maybe 3-1-1.
Right, and we're 2 points off the pace for the season....so by definition, treading water. That’s 6 / 7 points of the 10. Which is on target for the 6pts in 5 games
Most of predicted not holding on this 5 but we left at least 2 point on the ice and that hurts. then we apparently forget to show up again. That was about as bad as it could have gotten
That`s not gonna happen. This season is done.So we have to win 22 out of our last 34 games to hit 94 points. We have won 21 games so far this season in 48 games.
Or we could go 17-7-10, 20-10-4, or 15-5-14, etc to hit 94.
Time to fire up a draft thread? Or I guess start talking more about them as I now remember one exists...
