QUOTES TO NOTE:

You can spin this however you want, but just overall, we just didn’t play as good as we needed to.
- Mika Zibanejad

We have to move forward from that game.
We had a pretty good run, and things like that happen sometimes. We were running on empty.
- Alex Georgiev

I'm not worried how we're going to handle adversity. I already know how we're going to handle adversity.
We will dust ourselves off and get right back at it on Sunday.
- David Quinn

How strange is it that they haven't announced the goalie within 14 hours of puck drop? Like I know that happens, but it hasn't happened much for us this season.

Lundqvist likely starts
McKegg on the 4th line

Would like Kakko on the top line and move Gauthier up to Chytil's side, slide Howden to wing on the 4th line

No right wings on the left, Please! Haven't seen that work all year long. Move up Lemieux or Gauthier, please,.. or even Giuseppe.

Starting goalies most likely will be Hank vs Elliot. Hank will have something to prove. And Elliot is the Flyers' goalie on the road.

Edit: According to the Philly Inquirer, Hart will get a rare start on the road. AV going right back with him. This is great. He's been god awful on the road. Would be nice to send him packing before the second period. Philly has a losing record away from home.

Being the teams in front of us continue to lose, we can still claim the 8th spot tomorrow with a win. Even if it's only temporary, how great is that? LGR!

Three games back I mentioned how critical this week was. And how if we win the 4 games ending Sunday vs PHI, we would be in a playoff spot. Never thought if we lose won we would still have that chance. Well part of the reason I said this week was important, was the teams ahead of us had tough schedules, playing top teams. Well as I thought, most of the teams directly ahead of us lost most of their games this week. So we still have a chance Sunday to grab the 8th spot, even with us losing our last game. Incredible.

I can't believe our luck. I feel so confident come 3pm Sunday, we will officially be in a playoff position. And from where we were, earlier in the season, that is simply awesome.

Always needed a split this weekend. We have to have this one. Can’t believe how fortunate we’ve been on scoreboard watch this weekend but it’s fallen in our favor. Win today and we’re really in the middle of not just the wild card picture but even third place is in play.

Seems that Philly is just a step ahead of us right now... Lots of vets on that team whereas we're fresh as can be.

Hopefully these guys got some rest and are ready to go
