Damn this guy is inconsistent. Hope he can step it up this year, first part of the season he has not looked that great.

Farjestad fans have been giving him nothing but praise ever since he got the callup to the SHL

Well one of their veteran dmen just injured his ankle, so he has a good chance to make an impression

Could be my bias to statwatch a bit too much, but his points for the U20 have not been great. Will he stay in the SHL?
As a 16 year old he was the highest scoring DMan on the U18 team. As a 17 year old he almost lead his team in points on the U20 team and was 4th in DMen scoring for the entire league. As a 18 year old he has 2 points in 2 games for the SHL team. What more would you like?

He could at least have 20 pts by now, is that so much to ask?

He's definitely my favorite pick of this draft after Seider. It's funny but I feel like if we had drafted Johansson or Mastrosimone at Tuomisto's spot and then Tuomisto at there's, people would have liked our draft more.
Yeah, I said the same thing on draft day about Mastro/Tuo picks. Flip them around, and nobody would be complaining.

Elmer was my favorite pick after Seider because he's 7 ft tall, and 6th rd picks are all crapshoots anyways. He's got a better chance to make the NHL than most 6th rd picks, I think...

I was talking about his U20 production, not his SHL production.

I'm sorry, as mentioned in previous threads, I am super dense. He was 4th in the entire U20 league last year for DMen in scoring. He did so as a 17 year old. How is that not good production?

Johansson was my favorite pick of our draft.
And Hakan's post-draft comments solidified that.
Has speed. Hockey IQ. Loves to be aggressive.
If the size and shot comes, look out.

This just feels like one of those picks that we've just gotten correct. No need to rush him of course but the reports and the limited eye test have me all giddy.
