OEL is back, grats on diving and turning a 2 min penalty into 5 and a game.
You need your brain or eyes checked out.
He has a history of diving, no benefit of the doubt.
Also I grew up watching hockey where that was a good hit, miss those days.
Saying there was a dive on that play is one of the dumbest things I have read on this forum.
Sean Shapiro would take Dowling over Perry.
That's a highly misleading statement without context. He said that just before Perry all of a sudden started playing great hockey, and he's pointed out multiple times that Perry is playing at a high level since then.
Has assessment at that point in time was hardly shocking. Perry was doing nothing on the PP or at ES. Huge props to Perry for completely turning it around. It's not like he wasn't getting the opportunities. A switch just flipped for him.
Perry has been better than Dowling since they were born.
Nothing misleading about it, Dowling is a garbage NHL player, and it was laughable a paid-writer would pick a career AHLer over a Stanley Cup, Olympic Gold Medal, Mem Cup, WJC Gold Medal, WC Gold Medal winner. Seriously laughable.
A week ago, both sucked and weren't worthy of being on an NHL roster. Why do we need to argue about which piece of shit smelled a bit better?
