Jesper Eliasson is off the board at 84. Very interesting pick because he played second tier U20 hockey.

They went for him instead of Central Scouting #1 Euro goalie Dostal. Says somethign about how much they like him.

Abit weird to pick him in the 3rd though, but i guess they're pretty high on him.

He would have been available in the 7th round...Same with that Barton guy. Confusing picks. Should have kept loading up on skill.

Can you tell us anything about him? I don't think I've ever seen video of him and there's just about nothing written on him.

With how connected the scouting network is nowadays compared to even 10 years ago all the picks from here on out are gonna be long-shots. Nonetheless with 7 picks in the first 3 rounds this has been such a fun draft as a wings fan. As I said yesterday it finally feels like we have flipped the page to the next chapter.

3rd round is the round we like to get skethcy, huh?

Really would have liked to have packaged the 3rds to move up to the 48-52 range and take one of Thomas. Durzi, or Addison.

I won’t pretend to know a lick about Barton, but it sounds like he made a nice leap in the BCHL this year. The better thing is that he’s playing college next year so we have some extra time to see how he develops. That’s especially important with contract limits.

I've only watched the team a few times, didn't really pay attention to him. He plays for a team that I would imagine might give him an opportunity to play at the senior level which is good.

He was the backup for SWE U18, kind of like Larsson. But his stats are better than Larsson.

Is it just me or does it seem like how good someone's "edge work" is has become the new "compete level" when talking about prospects?

Danila Zhuravlyov is a D who's upside I like a lot. Should be a pick here soon.
