I couldn't resist.

Beautiful as usual. I'll have to follow this at work tonight. My hopes in no particular order:

Alvin Grewe
John Beecher
Simon Holmström
Brayden Tracey
Robert Mastrosimone
Samuel Poulin
Jamieson Rees

I'd say there's a good chance that a majority of the above are on the board when #30 overall comes up (assuming we keep the pick).

List may change if someone falls. I will not flip out at the pick like some do

Can't wait for the newest addition to the Bruins organization, whoever he is!

That's a solid list of players to choose from if they're available at 30! Would be super cool to be able to add a 2nd round pick as well (would be a crucial add imo).

I would love a 2nd rounder for obvious reasons. I don't usually get picks right so I'm not expecting any of these guys.

All seems quiet on the Bruins front. Haven't heard or seen any rumor talks involving the Bruins.

The Calm before the storm???:dunno:

Me personally I wouldn't mind seeing the Bruins deal this years first in a deal to acquire another first in next year draft, which is suppose to be a much deeper draft.

really the first year in many where I just haven`t watched nearly enough junior hockey to have my biased picks. Moved out to the left coast and while I did get to more than my share of the Royals games this year, couldn`t dig my feet in as a season tix holder with so much change.

In all honesty, even while living in Halifax I really only had a good feeling about players from the Q as I only got to see the odd CHL game on the tube but I`m way outta the loop this year. Not sure it`s too late yet but sure would love for DS to somehow get that 2nd round pick back

I have no idea who anyone is at this point outside of the top two picks and Poulin

Seems much easier to keep in touch with NFL prospects in college than it is for hockey

Sticking with Leason/Beecher in the 1st round. Like to Sweeney somehow wrestle the 38th pick away from Holland.
asking not challenging, any idea if Holland has much of a history moving picks? I know he loves to draft, take the time to develop just not sure about him moving picks

i'd be ok with them trading down a little to grab a late 2nd/early 3rd. the players from about 22-55
are pretty tightly grouped IMO. we'll see.

@TwineTickler - big rees fan. he's got an old school grit and skill combo. think he goes anywhere from
28 to mid 2nd.

Given DK’s age, that’s asking a lot for him to have that kind of impact.
disagree, while DK is closer to the end than the beginning, just posted his best statistical season for pts since the 08/09 season with a constant rotation of wingers, hand him one player, keep that player there and no reason to think he couldn`t do the same this year, especially with the 3rd line C role secured with Coyle

Like this idea, especially since the talent flattens out in the mid-20s, but I'm terrible with NHL draft pick trade values so I'm not sure what they could get back.

Last year it only cost Winnipeg #76 in order to move up from 29 to 25. Cost the Rangers 48 to move up from 26 to 22. In 2017, Chicago paid #70 in order to move up from 29 to 26. In 2016, St. Louis paid 87 to move up from 28 to 26. In 2015, the Islanders gave up 72 to move from 33 to 28, and Columbus paid 68 to move from 34 to 29.

I wonder if they could do something like 30 for 37 & 59 from Carolina. Maybe 35 & 66 from Detroit. Both those teams have multiple 2nd round picks, and they might be interested in consolidating them in order to move up.
