'Mecca' of Hockey
It's no secret 5-on-5 hockey is the most frequent situation in all of hockey.

Since 2016, 70–80% of the total minutes in the NHL were played at 5v5. Second, the two teams are on equal footing when they are playing 5v5 hockey. Therefore, both teams have an equal chance to “drive play” in their direction and win the shot and goals battles.

Below is a table highlighting the 5v5 stats for the Maple Leafs '4-headed Monster' since 2016. *Note: Tavares only has 82 game sample size.

His totals are the lowest, and of four, he is the lowest in overall talent (though probably not by as much as people think), but gosh I love watching Nylander. He skates so smoothly, controls the puck so well, has incredible vision. The way he brings the puck up the ice in transition, and creates chances at will off of zone entries...it is a treat.

Among the rest...really appreciated Gardiner's game, his vision and skating were incredible, and he was a lot better defensively than people give credit. Fun to watch him night to night. Love Johnsson's game as well, he is so dynamic, the way he skates with so much speed and acceleration is great, but he's also incredibly intelligent, opening up passing lanes, moving the puck quickly and accurately, and he has a great shot and hands.
