Go Swiss!!! Revenge against the Finns! I think if Conz can play another solid game he has a good chance of getting goalie of the tourney AGAIN and will get closer to being drafted. Big game for him and the Swiss!

Also, will this game be televised?

finland is the only major hockey nation that will show up for a meaningless game like this. Swiss beware.

Edit. Well... I guess it would be kinda nice if they won and Armia scored.

Schwervey has been suspended for this game, because of a hit to the head vs. Canada.

Why put the teams through this type of a meaningless match? Just go by goal differential or something.

Let the poor guys go home already!
Like the first poster said, this game will help determine groups for next season. I do believe the winner will be in the "weaker" group - and I'm sure Switzerland would benefit greatly from that.

unless mtv3max decided to pick this up once finland ended up in this game, the game's not going to be televised anywhere.

Looking back, doesn't really seem that Finland for example really benefited too much from being in the weaker group. They got Russia as their QF opponent where Canada got Switzerland.

I think it's all lost in the semantics anyways.

4-2 Finland, I think with goals from Armia, Pulkkinen and Tallberg (I like the name)

It helps in avoiding relegation, something Switzerland is generally more concerned with than Finland.

They should play these games, but only in Juniors. Its a great chance to show what you can do. Thats important for scouts and to the players who are going to be drafted next summer.

Young players are ice-hungry at these levels ! any opportunity is an opportunity.

Schäppi is also out (he is ill) and Engler is out due to a shoulder injury.
So Switzerland only with 9 attackers.

Pestoni is having a very good tourney. 7 points in 6 games so far. Along with Temmu for the Finns
