I think we are not playing well in Sunrise... I'm not expecting a win. But we have Hart, so who knows.

LET'S GOOO FLYERS! Two points would be huge!

But I believe more in two points at TB than here. Interesting maybe I know. :D
_______________

There are still 25 games left for us. 13 at home, 12 on road.
We still can lost 9 or 10 of them.

At least we still have fun in mid-February.

It's been a good season, they've been competitive against all the top teams, and the only bad stretch was the road trip from hell.

It's a better season than 2015-16 or 2017-18, which were competitive teams that made the playoffs but had limited futures.

2015-16: rode Mason (.918 S%), G, Voracek, Couts, B Schenn, Simmonds in their prime but little else, a defense of MDZ, Amac, Streit, Gudas, Medvedev, Manning and Schultz did not bode well for the future, Ghost the only bright spot. Mason's playoff meltdown was the end for him

2017-18: G, Voracek and Couts to go with Patrick and TK, Provorov and Ghost leading the defense, but AMac, Hagg, Manning, Gudas, Sanheim as a rookie the bright spot. Youth starting to arrive, but not enough to fill out the roster. Goalies melted down.

What we've had this season is a lot more young depth, and the young players who started arriving in 2016 and 2017 are now approaching their peak years (TK, Provorov, Sanheim). Even with the loss of Patrick and Lindblom, huge blows to any franchise, they've remained competitive. Farabee, Frost, Myers should step up in the next couple years, Bunnaman, NAK providing bottom six depth and should be joined by a number of LHV players next year. The pipeline is still full.

I made the Florida Road trip shortly after Christmas a year or two ago where we lost to Florida the first night and beat Tampa the 2nd night. Tampa was obviously the more fun venue.

Also had drinks at Four Green Fields after the Tampa game and what do ya know Jon Cooper came in late after most people had left besides the few regulars and my drunk ass self, brother, and friend. I just stood there a couple feet from Cooper in my flyers jersey and I'm sure had a shit-eating grin on my face.

Somewhere, FL
After getting squat vs the Isles, they need to come home from FL with at least 2 points. Getting a win here would certainly help as getting points in TB will be a bitch.

Still ticked about last night, but overall I’m quite happy with the season. They’ve frequently outplayed the league’s best teams head-to-head despite the losses of Patrick, Lindblom, & other key players for stretches.

....buddy..
i don't give a **** about road record. We are going into do or die for the flyers and this is a huge game to stay ahead in the wild card to now allow panthers to catch us. If we want to win in the playoffs or even make it, we need hart to win some road games. Im not relying on elliot at all. Elliot is at his best when he is a backup, let him be that. Even if we lose id rather have hart get some experience in these playoff type games
