A “D” may be generous for Patrick.

He gets an F for offense but a C for defense and play driving, so it averaged out to a D.

It's the near complete lack of scoring that's really skewed people view on his overall performance. He definitely wasn't good, but he wasn't 100% horrible in every single aspect either, as the guys who got an F were.

He also struggles to win board battles which is concerning. He’s not a small guy. I still don’t understand why he isn’t better on the boards as well as his shot. That seemed to be one of his strongest assets when we drafted him, but it is not showing up at the NHL level.

"Huh" what? What's the point of assigning grades to this bozo season's performances? Every single person was out there skating like a chicken with its head cut off and their chicken skates on the wrong claw. It was a complete clusterf***, thanks to Alain, and we all saw it happen night after night after night. All of them are being evaluated in every thread we already have anyway, despite the fact that it's nearly impossible to isolate individuals from the general hurricane of shit storming around each of them.

I did that blocking a shot in practice. I missed exactly zero time. Broken rib cost me a couple of games.
