Also, it's nice to see Benn come out of hibernation a month early since he slept extra hard this fall. I was worried springtime Jamie Benn might not show up this season, but the "worst contract in the league" title will have to wait another year before it's ready to be hung around his neck.

Bottle rocket for Gurianov! Crazy how it took the team so long to figure out how to use him. That's one thing the Bowness reign definitely has over Monty.

I think you owe that more to Laxdall who was really familiar with the guy coaching him in the AHL. He took off in Dallas when Laxdal took over the PP and told him to rip it every time he gets it.

Not knocking Bones for sure though. He seems to let his coaches coach. He's been very adamant about trusting Reese and Laxdal when he's talked about the PP and goalie usage.

Surely, Klingberg’s game wouldn’t be adversely affected if he were to add 10-15 lbs. He seems to get out-muscled a fair bit.

Pretty promising looking at Gurianov who had his best pro season last year scoring 20 in the AHL and then you look at a guy like Robertson with 20 there this year already and you can't help but hope he can contribute in Dallas soon. Different players and likely different goal scoring styles, with Denis obviously a product of a bomb of a shot, but exciting youngsters nonetheless.

Its pretty crazy to see how different Gurianov looks now compared to beginning of the season, just so much confidence. The second PP unit is such a threat now that is built around his shot

He definitely looked like a different player after that short trip to the AHL earlier this season. That turned out to be a great call. It's impressive that he has solidified himself in the lineup by becoming a legit threat on the PP.
