There is absolutely zero reason to think Berube is getting extended. Calm down.

He could very likely get a pass on this season because of the injury issues all season with the defense. Couple that with the fact that he got the team into the playoffs last season after a horrendous start and no significant injuries.

Now, I don't agree at all with any of that, but this is what I imagine the management seeing.
