As promised, May 4 has many great memories in team history.

1. Primeau's goal at 2:35 a.m. in 2000.

2. Roenick's series-clinching goal at Toronto 2004... moments after "all Toronto here..."

3. Sinisalo's tantalizing OT goal in the opener vs. Montreal 1987.

4. Bill Barber scores four goals and plays one of the greatest defensive series by a Flyers' forward led by his SHG tally in the third period in a 5-3 win vs. Minnesota. Flyers go up 2-1 in games.

It's a good test, Pens will be pissed off and need to win, they could finish first or fourth.
So Flyers get to see if they're the awful team they've looked like or just a team in a weird funk that can play with the big boys.

Yeah, the sample size that goes back to the playoffs last season should be thrown out in favour of the last 2 games to really show what this team is.

Should I watch this game or go to an open house at 6:45 that I know I won't put an offer in on because it's going to go 20-40k over the listed price based on it's comps and how the market has been trending?

This f***ING SUCKS right now. Seriously. As a first time buyer, this has got to be some kind of sick f***ing joke because this is absolutely aggravating in it's current climate.

Apparently I just need a suitcase full of money to get my f***ing bid through. Alms for the poor, anyone?

Even if it's a flash in the pan and he's one and done kind of guy, I'm fine with it.

Why? Because f*** the Pens, now and forever.

Edit: Not fine with it. I hope he's not a bust nor think he is or will be a bust.

who has been the best player/s for the past 5-10 games? Has anyone been a bright spot in this at all or has it all just been a complete shit show?

G for sure.
Ghost has played well. I don't think he is a top pairing guy but as a 4ish d I'll take. If I am Seattle he is my pick.
Allison has showed energy and on a lifeless team boy does that stand out.

Worst minuses
Myers, Hayes, Kubel, Laughton, Patrick the smell has been ripe.

Giroux has been on a tear lately.

Yup, Giroux's been playing great in general and is also racking up the goals, even though he's had terrible luck with assists all year. In the last 5 games he has 5 goals, but only 1 assist. Only 2 assists in the 5 games before that too. Teammates just aren't finishing so he needs to do it himself.

TK was great last night, since he was finally freed from Hayes. Not a coincidence that he always looks drastically different when that happens.

Otherwise over the past 5 games: Sanheim, Voracek, Farabee, JVR, and Ghost (only played in 2 since coming back from injury) have all been very good too.

Couturier is obviously Couturier and is still playing very well, although he definitely doesn't seem like his normal self.

It’s going to be amusing reading this board when Seattle selects Hagg in the Expansion Draft.

Actually if you compare his 1st 2 years to Jack Hughes there's not much difference. Maybe there is still hope?

why?

its either him, laughton, braun, voracek, ghost, jvr.....no idea who they are protecting so I included all the forwards that can potentially be taken. Don't think voracek will be taken at all but still included him anyway
