I don't think Lyon was healthy when he was up with the Flyers, and his play showed that.

He played one game for the Flyers on 11/21, then was sent down, played 3 games for the Phantoms, starting on 12/1, .891 S%, then called up for one game on 12/15 before being sent back down for Hart.

13 games since he was sent back to LHV, .929 S% before going down with a pulled groin.

it's obvious that Lyon played much better after he was sent back to LHV, that doesn't sound like a guy who wasn't 100% when he was called up and then got healthy/in shape? We don't know because teams don't reveal when a player is dinged up even though they're playing - see Simmonds last season.

It's obvious they exhausted every option, Pickard, Lyon, McKenna before calling up Hart.

If you disagree with the content of my post, fine, feel free to say so, but if the problem is how I present it... too bad.

You might also notice that the tone of my posts are drastically different depending on who I'm responding to. People who are able to have legit conversations get respect, whether we agree or not. People who lie or say insane things do not. If you don't understand why certain people get spoken to a certain way, by myself and many others on this board, it's probably because you missed the source of the problem.

Don't confuse a hot streak with a hot goalie with being a good team.
Last year's second half streak was much more impressive, when you win with crap goalies, you're actually a good team.

When i read the post I thought it was 100% accurate. I had assumed Lyon was injured. So I guess I was lying to myself.

During the broadcast it was mentioned that Hart and Talbot are friends and train together during the off season. If so, that would make for a nice tandem for a couple of years.
