The people raving about Hicketts are the people who've been talking all year about how he'd be better than half the Wings defense.
It's like going to a political convention and expecting good, objective information on a candidate.
Since November 15thNot since November LOL!
Since mid November, he's won 13 of 43 games.
Since November 15th
Howard 45 appearances, 1281 Shoats Against, 126 goals allowed, .902 Sv% (.9016)
Mrazek 31 appearances, 814 Shots Against, 81 goals allowed, .900 Sv% (.9004)
I could've made the threshold November 11th and added Jimmy's 31/32 night against CBJ to pad it a lil more too. But I didn't.
Nice attempt at sounding convincing, though.

Is there a specific number of breakaways for the other team you are allowed to create before you're game can no longer be called "exceptional"?You can think about Hicketts what you want...but as a matter of fact, he's been exceptional so far both during preseason and the three NHL games he played.
You've intentionally omitted a damning stat.
Since Nov. 19,
Howard 13-29
Mrazek 11-14
So in those extra 17 games, Howard went 2-15.
What a beauty!
Early in Howard's career, I wanted him to be good.
But what he wound up proving was that he was just good enough to lose.
He's like the opposite of Grant Fuhr or Jack Morris.
Those guys would win 7-5 or 1-0. But they'd win.
Howard will lose a lot 3-2 games, but he loses.
Mrazek gets lit up on a more frequent basis, but he wins more frequently.
