5 reasons why you should enjoy the World Cup and stop whining and trying to cause international debates:

    1) It's the only NHL-type hockey we will see for who knows how long.
    2) No one takes you seriously.

I guess there are only 2 reasons. If Canada is so stale to watch, then watch Germany and Slovakia play. If NHL hockey is so boring for you, don't watch it. There are plenty of other leagues.

I hope you aren't taking the same writing courses.

If you don't, why do you waste your time posting here? Every single one of your posts is asking for a flame war, and you only criticise things blindly. Go get a new hobby, like writing crappy articles at a 7th grade level, like Mark Madden. Heck, go analyze wrestling.

It's not my fault a bunch of two year olds can't carry on a topic.

How's anyone supposed to carry on smart-ass remarks like: "Canada sucks".

    Right here:
You have stated various times in your garbage posts that you hate Canada and Canadians. Both as a nation and as hockey players.

is there anything false about my claim? no. Again, you're assuming.

You have 250 posts. I'm sure 200 or more have something negative to say about Canada.

Well, its obviously since you claim that Team Canada is a boring team to watch. Yet you fail to back up that claim with anything. You give no reason why you feel Canada is a boring team to watch other than simply because they are Team Canada.

The only "explination" you give to what you say is a simple " :lol ".

Good night. And thanks for your explination as to why you think Canada is a boring team to watch.

wow, another assumption. The reason why I dislike NHL rinks in this tournament is because it's too small and creates boring NHL play. Not because of team canada. :lol

So why did you say "When Canada plays."? Again, you have failed to give me your explination to why you said that.

    Shouldnt you be in bed?

And there are no NHL sized rinks in St.Paul,Minnesota?

Maybe you should re-phrase it to "When played in North America."?

Last I checked, the Xcel Energy Center, where Team USA plays, is regulation-NHL size. Oh my gosh! What a revelation!

    I'm just shocked and appalled!

I thought they played at the ACC, ok, i'll fix my post just for you. :jump:

also, the final game is being played in canada, which is stupid. It should be played where the highest seeded team is from.

Yeah, passionate hockey fans watching a final, that sucks. I'd rather play in front of the 20 fans in Czech, etc.

They should do it for the SuperBowl, too. Make every fan run to the ticket masters as soon as their highest seeded team wins and makes the finals, to buy a ticket for one game.

Frankly, though, if they wish to preset where the final is played, I would have preferred it to be in a small market area, just to spur some more interest in hockey. Many diehard fans would make a trip if it was for only one game, anyways.

Either way, it's a logistical nightmare to expect fans from MULTIPLE CORNERS OF THE WORLD to wait until the highest seeded team secures the spot. The reason why they can get away with it in the NHL is:
    1) it's not nearly as much of a trip to go from Montreal to Atlanta as opposed to Minnesota to Sweden
    2) the finals is played in a series, so people can try to catch another game if the first one's taken.

  22. So your saying that the highest seed is the Americans?? :lol
