Monty's "rewarding" players for good play should not apply in OT and the shootout. it's not the time to f*** around

I wondered that as well. Makes zero sense. Monty must have just saw Faksa's ass slide against the NYI for the first time before the game.

Despite the loss, the Stars tonight looked good and were exciting offensively and it felt like they created quite a few chances and had consistent pressure. Hopefully a sign of things to come if they can keep a lead for once

I agree, I'm taking the glass half full approach. There was a lot of good and a lot of bad in this one. It was pretty entertaining though and I guess we at least got a point. The 16-17 and 17-18 Stars would've completely folded and lost in regulation

Also Benn scoring was not because of Benn . THat was all Hintz. Not to mention why not L'Esperance then and what if Polak scores ? Does Roman get to rumble down from center ice and shoot a penalty shot ? I doubt that.

Lot of things looked better tonight outside of about 4 minutes in the 3rd and the first half of the 1st period

Ending sucks but we actually looked good for the majority of the game. Sucks that we are losing these games. Also, holy crap who is #2 out there? I’ve loved his play this season.
