No remember guys, throw your pennies into the well and hope for a loss. You too Striiker...put that tooth that fell out under your pillow and put a note saying you don't want any money...but want a Flyers loss.
All I know is that when I get to go see them play live for just the second time ever in about two and a half weeks, I just want to see them lose and play like garbage.

(There's a decent chance that happens anyway though)

I have only seen them once in my life live. I flew to Ottawa....and we got shutout 4-0.
Saw them play against the Isles at the tail end of 06-07. They lost, of course, but at least they scored a couple

This time my mom's boss offered to buy our family Flyers club seats to any game we wanted as a Christmas gift. The choice was left up to me, and our schedules have us relegated to weekend games, so I chose Edmonton on 2/2 so I could get to see McDavid play in person... so I fully expect him to get hurt some time before then.

Only other choices were Anaheim, Detroit, NYI again, NYR, or Carolina... Not exactly the prettiest group of opponents to pick from.

The records of these two teams should be reversed.

I have trouble taking this Montreal team too seriously:

1) Domi and Drouin are scoring, but they're still one dimensional forwards
2) Tatar is playing out of his gourd, Vegas gave up a lot for him (2018 1st, 2019 2nd, 2021 3rd), then gave up on him (traded with Suzuki and 2019 2nd for Pacioretty), 60.7 Corsi, +10.7 CorsiRel, E +/- +11.2
3) defense is playing well over all, not just Weber
4) solid 5x5 play, but awful PP.
5) yes, coaching matters, this is obviously a team that's more than the sum of its parts, and Price (.912 S%) isn't carrying the load

Bergevin deserves some credit, how to rebuild on the fly:
Kulak D (24) for two guys back in the AHL
Tatar LW (28), Suzuki, 2019 2nd for Pacioretty C (30)
Armia RW (25), Mason (salary dump) and 2019 7th, 2020 4th f0r Simon Bourque
Domi LW (22) for Galchenyuk C (24), [similar to Drouin for Sergachev]

February 2018:
2018 4th rd for Morrow
Reilly (D) (24) for 2019 5th
2018 2nd rd for Plekanec (35)
2019 5th rd for Jerabek
2018 5th rd for Montoya (33)

Or you can take out the trash at the TDL!

Other notable deals
2/26/16 Danault & Chi 2018 2nd for Fleischman
6/24/16 Shaw for own and Minn 2nd rd picks (Chi drafted DeBrincat)

Good later round picks:
Gallagher #147-2010
Lehkonen #55-2013
Mete #100-2016
Though it's nice to draft high, 18 year old Jesperi Kotkaniemi #3 pick, 48g 6-17 23
