If you extend the "i" it is expressing one long vowel sound, like a Texan saying fire: "Far!" You need to express the two vowel sounds, "eye" and "er" - only way is to extend the "e"

First period was...unpolished. 2nd period was shattered confidence. Players sucked, coach didn't get them going...then the score 2.


3rd period features confidence and it's nothing like the other two.

He had a couple quick shots last year from positions where it didn't seem he should be shooting. I've been lusting to see more of that shooting skill. It's been completely MIA this year.

One again, Hart is our goaltender for the next decade +.
Simmonds is playing well at the perfect time. Patrick playing well again will only make sure this continues until he finds a new home.

Hagg had a pretty nice stop on a Montreal zone entry before the EN goal, something you'd never see MacDonald do. Otherwise bad game from Hagg.
