You think? I don’t. Lots of teams wanted Nylander during his hold out. Unfortunately for Toronto he was overpaid IMO and having a terrible season. I think he gets cap dumped TBH. Mind you it’s not Chia at the helm there so who knows.

I think the problem for Carolina is their owner. He wants a team that outscores the opposition and doesn't appear to care that much about defense.

I think they would give up someone like Pesce in a deal for Nylander or Kapanen.

Khaira is just like every other guy we've had for the past few years. They don't know what their role is, when in reality all he needs to do is play the simple game that was getting him promoted. It's as if soon as he gets more time he tried to do more and then when he gets demoted he's still trying to do more.

He needs someone to tell him just be himself.

Look at Lucic. Finally plays the way he can/should and then the next game he scores.

And you're right. While this team is poorly constructed if players ever 'played thier role', we'd be fine.
