Why doesn't anyone bring up Ruff for the Jack Adams this year. In game adjustments this year have been amazing. Also no one expected Stars to be this good.

I still seethe that Hitch didn't win it in 97-98, as he had more improvement than Nolan got in Buffalo. Or in other words, East Coast bias struck again. Maybe being familiar with Ruff from his Buffalo days will help his cause. In that case, the story was that Gainey had brought in enough talent and Hitch was expected to make that a winning team. That might work against Lindy this year, but if he doesn't get it, Nill ought to at least get GM of the year. Of course, if the Stars do anything but get to the finals, that is out the door, too.

It would also help his cause if the Stars run roughshod over the Isles and Rangers, and get 5 of 6 points while in the NHL media capital of the world.

I wasn't able to catch this one due to work. It wasn't the best outcome but at least we came back and grabbed a point. Hoping for the W today.
