I'd like to keep Danault as the third line centre who can step into the top six if one of the young guns go down. I also keep Gallagher, but no more than $6 million per year. I expect him to sign a long-term deal at some point during the season if he doesn't get injured (assuming there is a season).

I hope we can keep Armia because he's another solid third liner that can step up to a top six role when needed, but he's third on my list. I like Tatar, but I see him as the odd one out because I suspect he'll be looking of his last big pay day.

Danault and Gallagher will probably want 6M+ so they must go. Keep Armia if he's ok with 3.5M or less. He's a real solid forechecker with good stick check skills and is a big body. So trade Gally and Danault eventually. Those two should yield a good return individually. If only Poehling didn't crap his rookie pro year so bad, he'd have been slotted right in to replace Danault as the defensive center. Tatar should also go to make room for Caufield.
