Yeah D looks quite solid, top 6 F not bad. Slovak roster is going to be very weak, all the best 2002’s and 2003’s are in North America or in playoffs. And younger kids have U18 tournament. Sweden looks like the favorites

I think I read our goalie might be out too. I'm not expecting much at all but am happy to see other players get a look. I guess our coach is also done after this.. contract ends in April. I'll have to see which retired Czech NHLer will be gifted the job. Erat is busy with NT... so maybe Smid or Plekanec.lol

I expect Sweden to have a nice vacation and win as well. Honestly, I just want Jiricek to play and get himself over the NT as our 8th dman. Don't even care if he plays at World's but get him in that group!

No, he isn't. Antti Pennanen, Janne Sinkkonen, Antti Miettinen and Ville Mäntymaa are the coaches.

I am actually bit surprised by Slovak performance so far. Lost 4-0 to Sweden but had some good chances and considering quality of team it’s not terrible result
