They should win even if the goaltending is weak. This russian team has 4 drafted prospects, sweden have 17. Gabriel Carlsson who is a 1st round pick is the 7th defensman on the team. They should perform better with the kind of material they have.

Not the quantity but the quality :naughty:

Czech republic:

D. Kase (C) - Lakatos - Vesely
Christov - Tomasek - Jasek
Zohorna - Andres - Vopelka
Vozenilek - Cernoch (A) - Ordos

Hronek - Sklenicka
Havlin - Scotka
Rasner (A) - Bahounek

Vejmelka

That's a bad roster against players like Puljujärvi, Aho, Hintz, Laine or Saarela.

It definitely looks quite bad. Not a surprise though, as all the great players play in NA. But Kase, Jasek, Hronek and Scotka are good imo (Haven't seen the others)

Marko Tuulola's analysis at YLE Puhe after two: distances between defensemen and forwards are too great and the d isn't helping by taking time with their opening passes and constantly trying to make long stretch passes which rarely connect.

2-2, Puljujarvi with a one-man show that at least sounded awesome when described by the radio guys

3-2 final score.

The later Urheiluruutu might have video of the other goals, they showed Finland's first and the Czechs second just now.

Amount of drafted players doesn't always mean better. Russians are generally under the radar, who would know about Dergachyov before super series? Panarin before u20s etc etc, mostly only Russians.

Oh god this again.
Shots are 26:22 for Sweden yet the score 3:0 for Sweden. That's just so annoying, seems like it's happening all the time...

Yeah and just like that, 5-0 for Sweden.

Robin Kovacs from Sebastian Aho (PP goal)

Aside from the score are Sweden dominant? or is it just one of those games? because i see the shots are like 33-26, and I know that the shot statistics can be a bit misleading at times unless one team has a major advantage.

Well, I can't comment on that because there is no stream for this game but I would guess that yes, they are outplaying us, especially in the 3rd period (numbers of penalties on our side has increased).

End of the game.

Sweden 6-0 Czech republic. Last goal scored again by Robin Kovacs.

Shots: 37 - 29 for Sweden.

43 - 29 actually you are not counting the ones that went into the net.

Ah, alright then, thanks for correction. Anyway, most likely easy win for SWE. I am not so disappointed about it. Sweden has really great team but we could at least score the goal...
