The Swiss roster is available: http://www.sihf.ch/media/7897/u17-aufgebot-dezember-2016.pdf

They have all the top players in this age group (keep an eye on the duo from Bern Junior Elite A team: Jeremi Gerber and Mika Kiener).

Anybody has the roster of Russia, Slovakia or USA?

Not all the best are on board. Nico Gross for obvious reasons. Dylan Pena-Triana plays overseas.

Impressiv depth on attack. If you can afford to keep a guy like Tanner off the team, that says something. Results in international games have been promising so far. Scoring has been well spread through the line-ups. shot volume has been good as well.

If you put together a line-up just from western parts of Switzerland (with the Hubs Geneva and Bern), they could easily rival some all-swiss line-ups from average years.

Im eager to find out, how their results will look like against strong competition.

Im not sure yet how elite the best talent is though.
But the depth of this generation, combined with the best late 99ers surely make the 2018 Draft one of the most interesting in recent years.

:naughty:
Nico Gross is the only 2000 born player missing as he will be at the U20 camp.
He is doing well in the NLB, so most probably he will be at the WJC.

Karrer, Siegenthaler, Stadler and Geisser are ahead, Bircher probably gets a spot for his physical presence and NLA experience. So there remain 2 open spots. And the experienced Burren is the only Rightie beside Karrer. Could go either way in my opinion.

And as I said Pena-Triana is missing. He's normally centering one of the 3 scoring lines, beside Nussbaumer and Kiener. With Calzimiglia as a more defensiv-minded 4th. Maybe Bacciarini could challenge them, as he's finally playing hockey again after missing big parts of last season as well as the begining of this season.

Ah, that's wayhe's not there. He's with the U18 in Canada. As he is over there anyway.

Russia did release their roster for the World Jr Challenge. Now we know for sure that SVECHNIKOV, GALENUK and OKHOTIUK will not be in Switzerland with the U17 squad as they will be in Alberta for the WJC.

2000 birthyear could be probably weakest ever in slovak hockey. It is kinda strange because 99´s have some interesting prospects and imho it is our best year since 85´s. Maybe better than 95´s (u18 not good result but U20 bronze). I expect 3 blowouts. Even against Switzerland.

Players "TO WATCH" ?

Based on what I heard, Okuliar, Ilencik and Vojvoda. Especially Ilencik. 2000 seems really bad for Slovakia.

Has somebody watched the games today? Im drowning in work, unfortunately couldn't catch a glimpse of it. Tomorrow will be no different. Is the official stream actually working and if so of proper quality?

Sorry forgot to add you have to scroll down and choose the actual Game, at least if you watch from a phone. And there's a fulltime replay of all matches played as well.
