Hockey without a dreadfully long wait? Isn't that illegal?

I have to think that AV is going to scramble lines if Voracek's minutes in the 3rd were a sign of anything.

Perfect time to call up Jo-Jo Farabee

Giroux - Couturier - Konecny
Lindblom - Hayes - Farabee
JVR - Laughton - Voracek
Pitlick - Raffl - Twarynski

or

Lindblom - Couturier - Konecny
Giroux - Hayes - Farabee
JVR - Laughton - Voracek
Pitlick - Raffl - Twarynski

I definitely prefer the second lineup. Voracek has been bad, but I like Hayes and Giroux together. They seem to complement each other really well.
And I see no reason to break up the Lindblom-Couturier-Konecny line.

He needs to do something, Voracek has been a mess. He played well with Hayes and Lindblom in preseason so I’d put that line back together and TK with Coots and G.
However if that doesn’t get Jake going, I’d go with following in the 2nd period:

G-Coots-TK
JVR-Hayes-Lindblom
Twarynski-Laughton-Jake
The usual 4th

Also, unless he picks up his play in the next 2 games, I’d send Bunny down when they get home and give Rubtsov a shot at centering Raffl/Pitlick on the 4th line.

They do? I see ZERO chemistry so far.

That line has 1 goal through 3 games and it came off of a broken play faceoff.

Maybe adding Farabee over Jake could spark something but I still prefer Lineup 1 with Giroux and Coots back together.

They only have 1 goal so far, but also some bad luck. I think the biggest difference between the Couturier line and the Hayes line so far has been their RW. TK has had a great start whereas Voracek has been more or less invisible.

Giroux and Hayes certainly aren't standing out in a bad way like Jake is, but I just don't see the chemistry.

Would be sweet to see this at some point soon:

G-Coots-TK
JVR-Hayes-Farabee
Lindblom-Patrick-Jake
Twar or Raffl-Laughton-Pitlick

you could also flip the centers on the middle 2 lines now and then

TK and Lindblom have been good so far. I would keep them together.
I’d also start Elliott over Hart and start Morin over Hagg.

Line 1 LW Giroux C Hayes RW Van Riemsdyk
Line 2 LW Lindblom C Couturier RW Konecny
Line 3 LW Twarynski C Laughton RW Voracek
Line 4 LW Bunnaman C Raffl RW Pitlick

1st Pair LD Provorov RD Braun
2nd Pair LD Sanheim RD Niskanen
3rd Pair LD Morin RD Gostisbehere

Goalies:
Starter: Elliott
Backup: Hart

Scratches:
LD Hagg
C Patrick + Migraines IR

Probably. I am hoping for Hart to play in Calgary (better chance for a win there) and Elliott in Edmonton (a likely loss anyway), but I guess it will be vice versa (with a higher chance for two wins and also for two losses)

Same,

I'd like to get a win vs flames, hope to get 1 pt vs Oilers.

As long as we get pts I'm happy.

Flyers magic number to make playoffs I'd say lol 92 pts

Honestly I don't see why you have to keep the couts line together just because they are playing well. We need to put Giroux with someone else as he is being wasted. Giroux hasn't looked tht bad but its because he hasn't put up points that we think he has. Put G with Couts/tk and that line will not lose a beat, if anything more offense will come from it.

Lindblom is a guy that has shown he can play with anyone and hopefully his game can help hayes/voracek. No one in that g-hayes-voracek line is capable of doing the board work like lindblom can.

once patrick comes back i want to see a middle 6 of:

jvr-hayes-farabee
lindblom-patrick-voracek

some speed on the hayes line and lindblom/patrick have always been good together. I think voracek can do well on that line as well
