I'm just gonna go on record saying that I really like watching Riikola. I am very happy with his play relative to the circumstances surrounding him (free agent pick up, no NHL experience, seemingly 20 bottom pairing guys on the roster).

I'm just happy with him. That's all.

Again, part of it was coaching. Their defensive zone coverage was a problem, and likewise their first pass/quick breakout was a mess. But yeah, some of their guys (Petro) haven't been good.
