It sux that he's injured now, he needs this season for development and strength & weight gain.

I could see him sticking next year out of camp.

He also said McLeod will go back to juniors and work on his play in the d zone.

I'm very high on Boqvist. He has just as much skill or more than Hischier and fits the style the devils want to play. He may take a couple extra years to make it but when he does he has the potential to be a very good top 6 player. Can't wait to see him back in action.

Jesper Boqvist will most likely make his SHL comeback this thursday.
He have already made 2 ”test games” with Brynäs U20 team and those went according to plan.

It will be interesting to see if he can make the world juniors team in this short amount of time.
My bet is that he will.

If Speers could make it to the Canadian squad no reason to think Boquist won’t be given a good look. If he is truly healed he should probably make the squad.

Boqkvist is one of the top guys for team sweden. He is expected to carry a big load of the offense, especially on the power play. Their is a reason why the coach despite a long injury heard him if he still would be able to play if they save him a spot. Exactly same situation as M. McLeod.

Well, i wouldnt be so sure bout that. Swedens u20 forward situation is pretty good even without Jesper Boqvist.

I think he will be on the squad, But there is no guarrantes. He will have to prove himself this month to make the team.

Fwiw, Adam Boqvist has been slipping in the rankings recently. Pronman said the concerns are similar to Liljegren last year, so he could go mid first round.
