My guess:

Patrick, Lindblom scratched. Ghost on taxi squad.

Giroux-Couturier-Voracek
JVR-Hayes-TK
Raffl-Laughton-Farabee
Twarynski-Bunnaman-NAK

Provorov-Braun
Sanheim-Myers
Morin-Gus

I cited something yesterday about Vigneault waiting on "a few" players. That smells more of injury than healthy scratches. Perhaps Raffl's hand is an issue again. Maybe someone else got dinged.

Maybe they'll prove me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath. I truly don't understand how anyone can look at Fletcher's total body of work as a general manager both in Minnesota and so far here and think that this guy can build a championship team. I also cannot understand how anyone can fail to grasp that AV's success in Vancouver and NY was solely due to his having 2 of the best goaltenders of the last 25 years available to bail out his team mistakes. This entire organization needs an enema.

People are losing their minds around here.

Luongo was a top goalie only one season under AV, Lundqvist for his first three years in NY.
Notice how backup goalies seem to excel under AV.

Come on Dead.

What is that stat? When there are ones made for that purpose.

From 07-13:

Luongo:

50.83 GSAx: 4th of 91 NHL goalies.
+0.4 dfsv%: 10th of 91 NHL goalies.

From 13-18:

Lundqvist:

45.73 GSAx: 8th of 75 NHL goalies.
+0.48 dfsv%: 13th of 75 NHL goalies.

Now, AVs success was not JUST due to good goalies. He is a good coach in several ways.

BUT to say he did not have great goalies is ridiculous.
He had 2x HHoFers in their primes.
Who at the time were both top 5 starters in league.
AND in Schneider had arguably the best back-up in the league at the time.

These are players trending UP as of recently. Keep that in mind.

The good news is the Flyers are trying to get enough flexibility so as to become the Cirque du Soleil of hockey.

Don't have a problem specifically with Lindblom and Patrick getting a breather. It worked for Lindblom the first time. Doesn't mean it works for everyone though.

Why in the world are we benching Patrick and Lindblom are playing well? You knew Twar was coming in since I saw an article that he was playing well in the AHL.

The fact Prosser is even a consideration when he was the worst D on Phantoms last year is comedy.

But he is from Minnesota and a good guy.

The Nepotism Hockey League.

He literally gave them 3 goals the last time he played.

So we’re supposed to believe it was worth it to risk losing one of our best players so he could sit two guys who have been improving lately, by subbing in two worse players?

Patrick also became wavier eligible on Monday. Had he not played in literally any previous game, he could've been the one sent to the taxi squad for a 'break'

They're scratching Ghost... because Oskar and Patrick need a break?

Am I reading that tweet wrong? In what galaxy are those two correlated?
They had to create the roster spot, and I guess don't want to play 7D or Morin at forward.

A bunch of simple shit that just so happen to come to a head at the exact same time.

They obviously not are big fans of Jacques Lemaire work.

They mastered fluid and agressive defenses without getting the offense on the first gear all the time.

Alain Vigneault is of the same school.
As Guy Boucher that redefined this system that one time Flyers were mocking because of that 1-3-1.

What!? Can't play Morin at forward in a pinch. Only an idiot would ever think of that.
