They definitely opted for the full hokey approach, even ending with McGwire being inducted into the Cardinal HOF after the obligatory 5-10 minutes on the steroid aftermath toward the end. I don't even think they talked to the reporter who wrote the Andro story.

I always give McGwire credit for admitting he was on the juice.

Pretty impressive tho that he hit nearly 600 home runs when he missed 20+ games in half of his seasons.

If they should in on anyone for that era, it's Selig and MLB.

Barry Bonds told both of them in 2001 how this shit gets done.

Bonds was getting sick and tired of those two for getting accolades they got, Bonds was like f*** this...be gone.

If they should in on anyone for that era, it's Selig and MLB.

Its a both sides issue, certainly MLB was complicit but when they could no longer deny something had to be done the union cried about civil liberties of drug tests and protected the cheaters over the clean players until Congress forced the issue.
