Nikitin: Unless he wants to retire after next season he's gonna come into TC in incredible shape as he's going to be working his ass off to prove that he still belongs in the NHL. Buying him out would be a huge mistake. Trade him if you're bringing another LHD in. If not keep him on for another season. We could always waive him to the AHL if he doesn't get his **** together.

Soderberg: Really? Another center? Hopkins, Mcdavid, Lander and Gordon. Not to mention Leon who will start the year in the AHL. Suggesting that we need a center on the first page isn't very encouraging.

Martin: The dude is looking old in the East. How's he gonna look in the West? Did the writer forget that we play in the West?

Mike Green: YES. PLEASE. 5X5.5 - 5X6. Let's do it. And then let's let Schultz talk and pay local, national and international media to laugh at him for being such a bum.

Sekera: We could do a lot worse!

Franson: 1st PP (if we don't get green and let go of Schultz) and 3rd pairing minutes 5 on 5. Don't want to give this guy too much responsibility. I would have put him at #5 on this list.

I'm not totally sold on Niemi but I think he should have been here. He was never a brutal goalie but he wasn't elite either and it took me a while to come around to accepting that the Sharks have been pretty weak on the back end compared to the other playoff bound teams.
