I wonder how much Hyman's ACL effected him in Game 6? Remember on Boston's first goal it was on a power play and they scored right off the faceoff which Hyman took and lost the draw.

I don’t know what point you’re trying to make nor why you’re trying to make it at me.

It is actually very important why do you think centers are more valuable than wingers? Guys like Paul Gaustad, career high 12 goals, lasted 12 years in the NHL.

Remember when Garry Valk eliminated the Penguins? It was 2 seconds after a faceoff win by Yanic Perreault, might be GOAT faceoff man in NHL history

Yes for 2% margin on faceoffs only is why he lasted 12yrs in the league.

If you watch the highlights of Game 6 when Boston scored their first goal, it was right off a faceoff when they had a power play and Hyman lost the draw. So I wonder how much of it was him playing with his ACL injury.

Tavares played the PK in NY. Guess he gets to be too comfortable here.

Kadri is our defensive specialist who can't take a draw in the PK?

Coaching needs to give their head a shake.
Id say. Make them all earn their pay

But why are you saying this to me?
Because you originally said this and I remembered right away how Hyman lost a faceoff when killing a penalty on the Bruins first goal in Game 6 and I thought how much did his injury play a factor into that.

Boston is particularly good at faceoffs and small sample? Faceoffs aren’t so important that it’s worth starting an arms race to beef up on them. Leafs are pretty good at them, train for them, that’s probably about all you need. Better to focus improvement in other areas.

What does this have to do with Hymans ACL?
Because I wonder how much it effected him when he lost the faceoff? Logic would think if Babcock had some else playing at that time who was 100% healthy maybe they win that faceoff, clear the puck and Boston does not score on that power play.

Maybe, maybe not. Again I’m not sure why you’re bringing up a single play with me.

Leafs need a C who can PK. The last time they have that is Boyle and he is a UFA this summer. I still think they should sign Boyle and trade Kadri.

Really looking forward to the bruins winning the cup and everybody realizing our team isn’t completely broken like the media is trying to make out, and how close we actually were to being the Stanley cup champs.

Next year ....... Its like that sign you see behind the bar that says - Free Beer Tomorrow

Looking back over time, Kadri has never played the PK. No idea why that is, but since he's played in the NHL, he's never been given PK time.

Tavares was used for his last two season with NYI on the PK. His first season, he was decent, though used in a secondary fashion. The second season below par (11.5 GA/60), used in a secondary fashion. There were seven guys on the team, who had more PK/60 than Tavares, that had a better GA/60 in 17/18 on the Islanders.

Every player on the Leafs, who played a role on the PK last year, had a better GA/60 on the PK, than Tavares had in 17/18.... maybe there is something to that?

I don't know. I think Kadri is a career knucklehead and has never won the trust of a coach in the pro level to have him play on the PK.

As far as I know Eakins, Wilson, Carlyle, Horachek, and Babcock all had Kadri and all of them didn't have him on the PK.

This is a losers mentality in my opinion. We are a distant memory to the bruins who have already moved on and proven to beat better teams. We lost in the first round. Not the cup finals.
