i can't stand when the islanders spend and extended amount of time in their own zone, like its absolutely impossible for all 5 players to get the puck past the blue line for what seems to be at least a minute, or a minute and a half.......when that happens, I know there's an 80 percent chance that the opposing team scores

The amount of penalties barzal draws, is just one of many things that shows that this kid is an incredible talent

In terms of skating he's right there with Mcdavid.

McDavid is faster and is more explosive. Barzal is the better technical skater, his technique is flawless. It's very evident that both are elite puck possessors due to their skating and high end skill.

Barzal controls the play with the puck like few others in the league.
