Alright guys!

Since all of us are getting a little antsy stuck at home with no hockey, I thought maybe it's a good idea to get into some real hockey discussion again to take our minds off of the more sobering things happening in the world around us today.

And with most of the minor/junior leagues suspended and/or cancelled, it's TIME.....

for the CAPITALS TOP PROSPECTS 2020 Quarantine Update!!

Going to be voted upon again by the most knowledgeable hockey fan base in history.. YOU!

Since we're not sure when we'll have hockey again, let's add to the discussion on who you voted for, what is your estimated date of arrival to the big leagues NHL (if at all), and your realistic expectations for that prospect and how they would fit with the Capitals. Or anything else regarding these prospects.

Again, to be eligible for the poll, player must be 25 years or younger and has played no more than 25 NHL games.

If there is someone I missed in the poll or you think should be added, please post about it below.

I'll leave the polls open for 3 days due to the excessive amount of time we have to kill.. I'll see how it goes and may lengthen or shorten the time if necessary.

I'll post up the winner in the following Top Prospect thread.

VOTE 2020

(you can see that I'm very very bored)

Edit: Switching the poll to 2 days instead of 3

Oops I totally lost track of time and forgot all about that I had to put a new poll up. I don't even know what day it is, the construct of time is becoming convoluted. Up is down and down is up.

Oh and Feverbaby is up to #2! Who will be America's next top prospect?

There really is absolutely no rush. Especially now that we in Maryland are officially in lockdown starting at 8 pm.
Well, the only rush is it’s boring watching this poll. Nothing is going to change. #4 will probably be the same way w Protas. But it will be closer than this one.

so the reason is to actually give people a post to discuss....this one is going nowhere

It gives people time to do their "I told you so vote!" so that they have evidence to bring up at a future date like @francaisvolantsparis :P

Andddd there goes down Virginia too

• Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D) on Monday will issue a mandatory stay-at-home order for the state’s 8.5 million residents, according to someone who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to discuss the plan. Northam has scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. Monday.

Until June 10th, although it could be rescinded earlier (or, I suppose, eventually prolonged).

And I saw North Carolina also ordered a state wide stay-at-home shutdown starting at 5 pm today.

The wtop article includes 'going to work'.

Coronavirus update: DC joins Virginia, Maryland in issuing mandatory stay-at-home order | WTOP

Northam: ‘I expect all Virginians to comply’
Earlier Monday, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam issued a “stay at home” order, directing Virginians to stay home except for getting food, supplies, medical care, to go to work and to get fresh air and exercise. Northam’s order follows a similar directive from Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.

Should of clarified my company falls into the essential category.
