Played a tough game against Boston and not even 24 hours later still got a point on the road. It’s aight!

7 PM puck drop on Saturday. 5PM puck drop (not counting the spring forward) puck drop on Sunday. 21 hours between puck drops.

Really awful scheduling.

If you go by some European time zones the two games were actually on the same day.

That’s why the OTL point didn’t soften the loss for me

edit: I mean because we didn’t (really) make up any ground on Boston (if “we” even want to). The win would have been good for the team’s morale and my own

I see your point, but, to me, these kinds of statements are reductive and simplistic. By making this blanket statement, the OP implies to be knowledgeable about what he is talking about. If he is not, then why make the comparison? What looks like "flopping" to some may be something else to others.

I played football competitively. There's plenty of embellishment and diving is common
