That's a very Hynes-like thing to sayDon't give up now...... you know, clone it, few tweaks should be good enough

I was too young for 1988. I don't recall a single Devils season in recent memory where we were fighting for our playoff lives with less than 10 games to go. I'm used to watching other teams go through it, most memorably Philly and the Rags going at it for the last playoff spot in 2010. It's exciting and thrilling, but not something I would want to experience every year. It's affecting my day to day life. Each game either puts me in a good mood or a very depressed mood until the next one.
It really felt like a playoff game. The last time my heart beat that fast was 2012. The last time I celebrated a goal like I did Hall's OT winner was Game 6 vs the Rags. Oh how I've missed meaningful hockey.Honestly if you take yourself a bit out of the state of the race, you would look back and find that 3rd period insanely entertaining.
It absolutely was nuts. Both teams could have easily won in regulation.
omg i'm in the presence of a celebrity
I remember 88, but there was no sense of us *belonging* in the playoffs. It wasn't real until we had already almost run the table, and then you knew that the rags would somehow get over.I was too young for 1988. He was covering for severson who pinched in on the boards. Frigging jackass was almost unwatchable at times tonight.
Kink was awesome. That Coleman goal might go down as one of the biggest of the season. Thought vats made a lot of important little plays, and Moore actually surprised me with some great stick work breaking up dangerous passes.... Of which there seemef to be a million tonight.
Can't decide if we should rest kk and try to get the monkey off Cory's back tomorrow... But if it turns ugly, he might never recover.
Severson was the first man in and everyone else was stupidly aggressive.
I wouldn't pin that on Severson. Zacha came in way too hot and was caught when the puck bounced past him. Then Palmieri panicked at the blue line.

Don't know how I can love this more.Hischier two points away from 50
50 points and stellar two way play is exactly what the doctor ordered with Hall on 1LW
correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't marty get his career started after he took over an injured chris terreri in '93-'94?
perhaps kinkaid CAN take the next step in his career, with schneider's current down season. not saying he's anything like marty at all LOL but the circumstances are interesting/have been interesting
ah shit, mods, delete my post, i gotta bring it to the dissection threadThe can of worms was there to be opened. Go directly to the other thread, do not pass go.

Looking at the condensed game... My God they hung kk out to dry on so many odd man rushes. Dangerous dangerous chances.
During that sequence started by a Grabner breakaway....how that puck did not end up in the net is mind-boggling.
He was just a tad too high, but god the puck on the line right there afterward.
Keith stops that 3 on 1. Moore shoots a puck that straddles the line. Game was insane.
