Yeah, I know sometimes I am a bit too conservative... I mean Scott Stevens was a total pansy. Kleven is going to punish people for real

Greig should be faster than Marchand and a bit more intense. It feels like sometimes Marchand takes shifts off.

Sokolov floor = Malkin (if goal scoring doesn't translate that well)
Sokolov expected potential = Ovechkin (but better playmaker and 2-way player, seriously)

Ovechkin actually started to play in the NHL at 20 y/o so I see similarities.

Kadri appears to have a lot more talent though. Say what you will about him but his A+ hands in junior were on display every night.

I agree. I also saw more of Kadri than I did of Grieg at that age, but love the fact that he is saying himself how he has been compared a lot with Kadri by others thus far in his career. Kadri comparisons are what he hears most about himself, and anywhere close to that level is jackpot at #28!

I am very happy with this and all three of the 2nd picks (including 7 Kleven who PD Mann traded up for so they see something more than most casual armchair scouts).

Kleven was 36th on BM's list, the one I consider the most (and probably like most people do)

Definitely he seems to be the guy that really separates nhl consensus lists and internet scouts. We shall see who prevails this round.
