Some interesting names that could be among the 224 players selected :

Johannes Sideback (F/Sweden/2005)
Karl Sterner (F/Sweden/2006)
Anton Olsson (D/Sweden/2006)
Alexander Zetterberg (F/Sweden/2006)
Ivan Demidov (F/Russia/2005)
Roope Rajala (F/Finland/2006)
Adam Jecho (F/Czech/2006)
Patrik Kral (F/Czech/2006)
Alexei Dontsov (F/Russia/2006)
Teodor Munther (G/Sweden/2005)

Zetterberg and Sterner. Good hockey names. Alexander's father is Henrik's cousin in case anyone was wondering. Is Karl related to Ulf? Guessing no.

Were going super far ahead.

The only prospect I'm very confident in at the moment whose name will still be up there in 4 years' time is Kivi but A LOT can happen.

Switzerland has actually a lot of talent in the 2006 - Jahrgang (same as 2004 and 2005). The only problem is, national competition is relatively weak, number good of players in the very few elite clubs is so small that players don't develop enough. Colleagues in other countries bypass them by a huge leap starting from age 12-13. Competition and training culture is just not tough enough. Having said that, if they'll ever have a world championship for U10 agers, Switzerland would kick ass.

Oh, and I said I wouldn't be dropping any names, but I have two words: Melvin Nilsson (Sweden). He might not be the highest scoring forward around, but man he skates like nobody I've seen in that age group. Unless something goes wrong, he has really unlimited potential.

If we talk about Belarus and the promising players of 2005, then many teams from North America should pay attention to the following players who have good statistics and playing qualities, skate and progress more and more every year.
Arseniy Kovgorenya 2005-Belarus national team U17

Dmitri Tukach 2005-Team Belarus U17

Rimashevsky Egor 2005 - Dynamo Moskva U16

Ivan Gavrilov 2005 was born in Belarus, but has been playing in the Russian championship for a long time and in recent years has made an amazing breakthrough in his game, confident play in a foreign zone, pressing, working in the majority and confident skating allowed him to attract attention and he is already in extended lists Team Russia born in 2005.
Ivan Gavrilov 2005 - Spartak Moskva U15.

Litvin Nikolai 2005
Another of the most talented players from Belarus, I am very pleased with the large number of good players this year in Belarus and their physical data and technical abilities, if we talk about Nikolai Litvin, then it is worth noting his throw and ability to conduct power struggle and fast skating.

I don't know if Jakub Chromiak is so good that he would belong to the very very early top 15... I'd rather put the Czech Adam Jecho there.

I have to admit that I have never seen a mock draft 5 years out.

I'm also wondering how many of those guys won't even be 1st rounders?
