He's doubling down on the dumb take, completely forgetting our last two second round picks were immediate contributors/starters.

I wouldn't call Cook an immediate contributor given he fumbled his first carry and rode the pine for a while before getting back into the game.

But while on the whole the Bills have slow cooked their rookies, that's usually because they had solid starters already. When they've needed to--and the rookie has earned it--they've given playing time to guys like Torrance, or 7th rounder Christian Benford right from the start.

Fair, but the 18 snaps Cook had week 2 last year were far more than Neal had in any game last year, exemplifying the bad comp lol
