Haha I kind of figured. He also said Serbia is the best at Football(Soccer), Tennis and Volleyball. I'm not sure about the latter two but I know they're not the best at Football. Not even close really.

He must have mixed up the sport. He probably meant basketball. But in handball Serbia doesn't play a big role.

Gidsel and Pytlick, the two youngsters, wow, just wow. Pytlicks first major tournament for the nt aswell.

And Lauge got injured in the 1st game, doesn't play a sinlge minut till the final, scores 10 and has to be the finals mvp. He deserves it, was injured for the 2016 olympic gold, injured for the 2021 wc gold, and almost also missed this.

Finally time for this wonderful sport. High pace, lots of goals and very physical.

it starts 11 Jan. Host countries are Sweden and Poland.

Denmark won the gold last time.

Favorites to win is as usual Croatia, Denmark, Spain and France. The big 4.

Germany, Poland, Portugal, Iceland, Norway and Egypt is outsiders.

Worst teams are Chile, USA, Sweden, Saudi, Iran, Cap Verde, Uruguay and Belgium.

Might suprise alot of people to hear that big USA is one of the worst teams, but it really is so. Handball is not big sport in USA.

Nobody knows. But its a sport, you can learn very fast to some level. And its fun. And is cheap. You need only a ball and here you go.

Btw. original Handball was played on the football (soccer) playing fields, not inside.

Imo Denmark played best until the 50th min.

France have been clutch in the end of games.

Denmark seemed tired and nervous for some reason.

And Saugestrup playing injured, didn’t help.

Fun fact: Last time either of these teams were in a Euro Final, they also played each other.
(2014, in Denmark, with a French win.)

Nonetheless, deserved win for France - Fabregas and Remili are awesome.
