@ImporterExporter I know you had to step away from the draft for personal reasons, but I'm sure you'll come back to read this at some point: Congrats on making the Conference Finals!

I only have time for a couple short posts today. To begin with, for the third round in a row, this will be our primary blueline setup for this series:

Roster Change for Chicago

In: Bob Bourne - 4th Line C
Out: Dale Hawerchuk


The 2nd PK unit will mainly be Bourne and Bun Cook, which will allow Zetterberg to play Center on the 2nd PP unit to replace Hawerchuk.

I will go into a more detailed explanation later on Bourne, but he is a much better defensive player than Hawerchuk, and given the center depth of Saskatoon this is something we felt we needed. Our 2nd PP unit takes a hit, but as many of you may remember, I put a much larger importance on the 1st PP unit than the 2nd, and I think the downgrade to PP2 is worth the upgraded checking ability on our 4th line at ES. Bourne was a great PKer so no loss there.

I'm sure the voting was razor thin in this match up.

I'm hanging in there. Made a killing on the house, and did have a job briefly, though scheduling differences (impacted my time w/my son, which is a no-go with me) led me to resign after a few weeks.

I'm back in the FA pool, but have a decent chunk of change, between the house sale and severance, thankfully, to take my time and ensure I find the right fit over the next few months. I'm in no hurry and will take something that fits my definition of work/life balance.
