Rangers are at 23 now.....if Seattle goes to the conference finals they'll be 22. St. Louis has the Dallas 1st.
Rangers three best prospects arguably are all LW's--Othmann, Cuylle, Sykora. Just don't see them going with a another LW unless he's something special like maybe Perreault, maybe Honzek but I don't think Nadeau is quite there. The Rangers wouldn't mind a center....are thin on RW and are thin on defense prospects . Outside of their AHL team they only have three late round college defense prospects and they might not sign any of them.
Would not be surprised if they move down in the draft depending on who or who doesn't drop and dependent on return. Thinking they'll be keeping their powder dry on that though until the first 20 or so players get picked.
