Doohan came within 35 points of winning the F2 title after picking up 25 points in the first 5 weekends... not that I think there would've been much hope for him getting an F1 seat but that shocking start to the season was costly.

Well overall glad this year is over, but it was very cool seeing Monaco live. Really hope literally anyone can fight with Redbull/Max next year.

I had, again, completely forgotten that China is still supposed to be on the calendar. Only race that was still cancelled due to Covid in 2023.

Also, there's some chatter on Twitter about the Spanish GP moving from Barcelona to a street track in Madrid 2026 onwards, as has been rumored for a while now. As much as I don't love that circuit, the trend of every new track being a street circuit is incredibly annoying...
